Speaking Truth to Power!
We’ve made it easy for you to share PaleoRadio!
Sharing is a good thing, right? Our parents teach us to share. And we all know sharing pizza makes it taste better.
5 Ways We’ve Made it Easy For You To Share PaleoRadio
1. Like Us!
Just below the title of a page or post, you’ll find a Facebook Like button. After you like it, it will ask you to comment on FB, but we encourage you to use the comment section below the article – which will also post to Facebook if you login with your Facebook account.
2. Google +
Below the Facebook LIKE button, there’s a Google+ button too. This one will help your friends find PaleoRadio on Google search results on the topics we talk about.
3. Click To Share
When you view a post on PaleoRadio, you will see on either side of the page some share buttons floating along side the article as you scroll down. On the left side, you can sign into your Facebook account, without leaving the article. You’ll have the option to share posts/pages as you choose, or you can set it so that it instantly share any post/page you visit on PaleoRadio.us.
On the right side of the page, you’ll see a bunch of other social media sites from the buttons you can choose from to share a post/page.
Give them both a try and let us know from which side of the page you like to share from.
4. Sharing Just a Snippet
So you are reading a post on PaleoRado.us and you come across a quote, a statement, an image or a video that you want to share with your friends, but you only want to share that one snippet, not the whole page. Now you can. Right-click to highlight the text, video or image you want to share, and when you release the mouse button share options for Facebook, Twitter and email will pop up for you to select. Pretty nifty, huh?
5. Sharing is Caring
Finally, at the end of each post there are a bunch of social media buttons you can use to share once you get done with an article. If there are other social media sites that you use on a regular basis that you’d like to have added, feel free to let me know about it in the comments below. Oh and if you like this post, remember, sharing is caring!
As a Christian, who happens to be gay, it is difficult to be a witness to hatred in the name of Christ.
Hatred against LGBTQ students is being promoted by a group of people who call themselves Christians in the small town of Sullivan, IN.
WTWO News reported that a gathering of people met at the Sullivan First Christian Church to discuss a proposal to hold a separate high school prom where LGBTQ students would be banned from attending.
In the report, special education teacher, Diana Medley, made some uniformed and hypocritical statements:
It is an especially sad thing to hear misinformed statements like, “we love the homosexual, but we do not condone what they do,” in the context of using Christianity as the justification for condemning others. Jesus taught about love by His words and deeds. He taught that loving people is not about shutting them out, but rather inviting them in and treating them truly as equals with respect and dignity.
All too often, this kind of hatred and ostracization can lead to some LGBTQ students experiencing depression and suicide. I do hope that any of the LGBTQ students who are victims of the bullying by this very misinformed group of people, do find the people they need in their lives who are understanding and who authentically care about them.

There is a glimmer of hope I suppose, in that teacher, Diane Medley admitted in her interview that, “I don’t understand.” As an educator, hopefully she takes the time to understand. We all would be a lot better off if we did that more often.

Hour 1
Jeremiah discusses Election Day decisions with our listeners today. Motivations for voting expressed: ‘lesser of two evils’, torture, jobs, and more. We have a diverse audience, listeners indicate their support for Rocky Anderson (J), Gary Johnson (L), Obama (D), Romney (R), Jill Stein (G), as well as writing in themselves for President. If you experience problems at the polls, you can call 1-866-OUR-VOTE.
Hour 2
How do you decide on who to vote for? And how do candidates who might not even have a chance of winning, decide to run anyway?
Courts & Money. Michigan has the reputation for the most expensive and most partisan. Plus the most intense political ads for judges.
Elections are the worst way to select judges. The process leaves judges beholden to party bosses, wealthy donors, and the whims of the very, very few people who actually bother to vote. ~ ANDREW ROSENTHAL, NY Times
Andrew Rosenthal reveals that Michigan law has a loophole that does not ensure that all money spent on political ads does not have to be disclosed, if those ads are “issue” ads. This is problematic for judicial races, where conflict of interests may come into play.
A group called ‘True the Vote’ dedicated to eradicating election fraud falsifies the forms used to gain access as observers at polling locations. Irony?
Hour 3
Bill Kauffman writes:
To invest in one man quasi-kingly powers over the 13 states then, 300 million people and half a continent today, is madness. And it didn’t have to be this way. ~ Bill Kauffman The American Conservative
. Did the Founding Fathers make a mistake in creating the president.
The food crisis in Palestine only seems to be getting worse. Israel controls the access to resources, Jews are in the minority, but Palestinians are forced to rely on Israel for resources at inflated prices. Isn’t it time we recognize that what is going on there can be called Apartheid?

Hour 1
Commentary on the movie, Pururambo
, filmmaker Pavol Barabas takes viewers on a tour of a place where earthly mysteries still dwell behind dense forests and dark swamps. Here, in a remote area of New Guinea, people dwell high in the trees. Should people from the outside be visiting isolated societies, knowing that even a visit may change their culture?
Will the real fiscal conservative stand up? Turns out spending on entitlements goes up during Republican administrations far more than during Democrat administrations.
Hour 2
Is the GOP more fiscally conservative?
The use of the R word.
Opportunistic or feverant believer, or maybe both, but at least it is very predictable – blaming hurricane Sandy on God’s wrath.
